Legacy Monitor is our flagship benchmarking service, in operation since 1998. We work with an ever-growing Consortium of charities (53 at present) to collect and analyse key legacy performance data. By drawing directly on our clients' databases, we can present the latest intelligence on legacy incomes, notifications and values. Each client receives quarterly Legacy Barometer reports, comparing their performance against their peers - whether by cause area, age or size. In addition, the annual Legacy Market Review provides a 'state of the nation' report on market trends; while the Charity Health Check provides a confidential commentary on each client's 5-year performance.
Legacy Monitor is a collaboration between Legacy Foresight and Clear, the creators and developers of FirstClass, the UK's leading legacy management system. FirstClass clients' data is automatically extracted and formatted for the Legacy Monitor programme, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
Legacy Monitor operates on an annual cycle, January - December. New members are invited to join each autumn. If you would like to know more about the programme, contact Meg Abdy.
Legacy Foresight are currently running a year-long project to research and analyse the growing in-memoriam sector. The work is supported by a group of 22 founder charities. From 2012 onwards, we plan to roll out the project as an ongoing benchmarking programme. If your charity would like to be involved in this exciting new initiative, please contact Meg Abdy.
