    Gifts left in wills are the foundation for many charities in the UK; without them they would struggle to survive. Remember A Charity was formed in 2000 and now has over 140 member charities. Their collective aim is to do what no single charity has been able to achieve on its own – to encourage more people to leave a gift to charities in their will, after they've looked after their family and friends, so that it becomes the norm for the many rather than just the few.

    Hospice UK are the national charity for hospice care, supporting over 200 hospices in the UK.

    Every year, UK hospices provide vital care to 200,000 people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, as well as providing support for many of their loved ones. Hospice UK works closely with them to support their work and to create a stronger voice for hospice care.

    Collectively local charitable hospices need to raise £1.9 million every day from their local communities to fund the care they provide.  A key focus of Hospice UK’s work is supporting its members with their income generating activities. They share knowledge and good practice by developing national initiatives that members can get involved in, as well as delivering conferences, training, networks and publications
